Who provides the service

Roadbasis provides this enthusiast ownership tracker. This notice describes how the current beta works. For questions or requests about your data, contact Roadbasis through Help & support.

Information you provide

Signing in uses your email address and an account identifier. Your garage can contain vehicle details, VINs, mileage, purchase and sale amounts, expenses, value estimates, service reminders, auction watches, purchase scenarios, model-index observations and notes. We store the information you choose to save so that the product can calculate results and restore your account on another device.

Optional public profiles contain the fields and vehicles you select. Support conversations contain the subject, category and messages you submit, support replies, timestamps and status. Community reports contain your stated reason and description of a concern. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, payment details or unrelated sensitive information in messages or notes.

Private records and public profiles

Account access checks restrict garage records to their signed-in owner. Authorized Roadbasis operators administer the infrastructure; public visitors and other account holders cannot open your private ledger.

When publishing a profile, you preview exactly what is shared. You can separately opt into rankings or disclose selected recorded estimates. Your private purchase prices, expenses, returns, VINs and notes are excluded from that public snapshot. Updating your garage does not silently update a published snapshot. You can unpublish your profile; copies or screenshots already made by others remain outside our control.

Providers and browser storage

Cloudflare provides hosting and the application database. Supabase manages email verification and sign-in identities. Cloudflare Email Service delivers sign-in messages through the configured mail service. Your browser stores a sign-in session so you can return without entering a code each time; signing out removes the app’s saved session from that browser. While signing in, the pending email address is kept in the current tab for up to one hour so a reload can return you to the code form. Verification codes are never stored.

Hosting and authentication providers process ordinary request information, such as network addresses and security logs, to operate their services. Some pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. The app currently has no advertising trackers, payment collection or subscription checkout. Operational service checks store only service states and timestamps, not garage records.

External lookups and links

VIN lookup sends the VIN and optional model year to NHTSA when you choose Look up. If connected in the future, inventory search sends your chosen search details to its market-data provider, and generative advice sends the submitted question and relevant recorded car finances to its AI provider. The app shows whether those connections are available; live market data and generative advice are not connected in this release.

Auction listings, source references and photo-credit links open external websites with their own practices. A saved auction link does not give Roadbasis access to your account on that auction website.

Support and community review

Authorized support staff can read the conversation you submit to respond inside Roadbasis. Your garage, email, VINs and sign-in tokens are not automatically attached to the request. Support replies are available in your private inbox; automatic email notifications are not enabled.

Authorized community moderators can review submitted reports and hide public profiles. This moderation role does not give access to other owners’ private garage records. Public seller identities and vehicle condition are not verified by Roadbasis.

Exports, correction and retention

You can correct garage entries and download a full garage backup from Your account. The app keeps up to 50 saved garage revisions for recovery. Public-profile settings and follows have separate export controls, and a support conversation can be downloaded from its thread. A garage backup does not include community or support records.

Current account records remain until you change or erase them. Closing a support request changes its status and retains the conversation. Service-check history is limited to seven days. Authentication and infrastructure providers have their own retention and backup practices.

Erasing Roadbasis records

Your account → Erase Roadbasis data removes your current garage, saved recovery revisions, current account search cache, public profile, follow relationships, associated community reports and support conversations from the application database. This cannot be undone within Roadbasis. Download anything you need first.

A minimal account identifier and revision marker remain to reject old requests from other browser sessions. Erasure does not remove copies you downloaded, information held by external providers, hosting backups, or the Supabase sign-in identity. Contact support if you need help with the separate sign-in identity. Sign out on shared devices.
